Installation Instructions

Follow the steps below to install your Vertical Rail. For a complete walkthrough, watch the installation video above.

1

Install the Dovetail Attachments

Slide the dovetail attachments onto the wood rail and position them where you'd like your planters to sit.

The attachments can be repositioned later, so they don't need to be perfectly placed before mounting the rail.

2

Attach the Wall Mounts

Slide the top and bottom wall mounts onto the ends of the wood rail.

Insert the included keyhole markers into the keyhole slots on both wall mounts.

3

Mark the Mounting Holes

Hold the rail against the wall in the desired location and use a level to make sure it is straight.

Firmly press the rail against the wall. The keyhole markers will leave small indents showing exactly where to drill.

4

Drill the Holes

Remove the rail and drill a hole at each marked location using a 1/4" drill bit.

5

Install the Anchors & Screws

Insert the included wall anchors into the drilled holes, then drive in the included screws.

Leave each screw head slightly proud of the wall. Use the included depth gauge to determine the correct screw depth.

6

Mount the Rail

Align the keyhole slots with the screw heads and slide the rail downward until it locks into place.

If the fit is too loose or too tight, remove the rail and make a small adjustment to the screw depth.

7

Add the Planters

Slide each planter onto a dovetail attachment until fully seated.

Insert the removable inner pots and add your favorite plants.
